The Union Commerciale des Vins de France (UCVF), a leading importer of exclusive spirits and champagnes, is presenting its expanding portfolio of more than 30 partners and exclusive brands
The Union has boosted its portfolio of innovative brands in a bid to stay ahead of France’s booming cocktail culture with the recent additions of Sir Edmond Gin and La Summerhall Distillery Limited. Founded in the 1980s, the UCVF markets several categories of spirits including a wide selection of rums (Auténtico Nativo, Kong, Neptune, Labourdonnais…), of gins (Moletto, Purity, Ukiyo, Knut Hansen…), whiskeys (Black Irish, Nelcius, Clan Denny…), tequilas/mezcals (Ojo de Tigre, Arette…) or even vodkas and liqueurs.
Commenting on its latest partnerships, Joris van Gent, Managing Director at UCVF, said: “We are excited to join forces with Sir Edmond Gin, with its historic French connection, and bring something special to the world of spirits that will leave a lasting impression.” The Bourbon vanilla infused gin, made in Schiedam, The Netherlands, will be distributed through UCVF’s extensive network of wine merchants, hotel and restaurant owners, and specialists across France.
Earlier this year, the UCVF teamed up with Summerhall Distillery Limited, for its new blended scotch whiskey produced in Edinburgh, The Broody Hen. “Today, The Broody Hen adds a new building block to UCVF and our ambition over the coming years to challenge the leading independent distributors”, says Sébastien Peyssonneaux, Ranges Manager exclusive at UCVF.
Today, the group’s distribution portfolio consists of more than 30 international brands of premium spirits and a hundred references which visitors can discover at Wine Paris & Vinexpo Paris 2023.
