The wine and spirits industry means business

Good morning ladies and gentlemen and welcome to the second day of Wine Paris & Vinexpo Paris 2023. The show has gotten off to an incredibly strong start. Yesterday, the halls were buzzing with activity and packed with people from the four corners of the global wine and spirits industry. Today the show continues under the patronage of chef Guy Savoy, with a wide range of masterclasses, tastings, panel discussions, interviews, chef & sommelier duos, award ceremonies, press conferences and more.

Be sure to attend one of our hard-hitting Let’s Talk About Wine! conferences and learn about some of the key trends which are shaping the future of our wonderful industry. This morning’s conference, starting at 11:00am in Room 5, will look at the implementation of reusable and returnable glass bottles.

A new feature at Wine Paris & Vinexpo Paris 2023 is the Chef & Sommelier Duos, where chefs and sommeliers team up to present their most creative food and wine pairings. Today, from 3:30 to 4:30pm, Thierry Marx & David Biraud will be putting their skills to the test in what promises to be a tasty show.

Over in the Be Spirits Hall, the Speakeasy area is offering a series of masterclasses, conferences and events focusing on spirits and mixology. This morning’s sessions titled “Brandy is the new black” will offer a 360° overview of the genuine potential of pure grape brandies in terms of quality, innovation and business opportunities.

Make sure you take the time to explore our different halls where you will discover some of the finest wine and spirits from around the world. Off the back of a very successful event in 2022, we have 52 countries represented at the show, as well as all of France’s wine producing regions.

Anyone interested in discovering the latest digital innovations should visit La Wine Tech Perspectives, where a session called “La Wine Tech White Paper: NFT and wine, myths and realities”, starting at 10:00am, will examine concrete benefits of Web 3.0 for the wine industry.

The show continues after hours with the OFF, a selection of 180 restaurants and cocktail bars across Paris with a passion for wine and mixology, which are waiting to welcome visitors in the evening. With such a wide range of venues, there is guaranteed to be a taste which takes everyone’s fancy.
