Mare Santo, a unique sparkling wine aged at sea, is premiering at Wine Paris & Vinexpo Paris 2024. Originating from Goriška Brda’s sunlit slopes, this wine is a testament to innovative winemaking. Its ageing process, developed by Slovene winemaker Igor Tomažič, utilises the Adriatic Sea’s natural coolness to enhance flavour complexity. This method, rooted in historical practices and now patented, limits production to a select number of bottles annually. Mare Santo is offering visitors a distinct and refined tasting experience, showcasing the fusion of Mediterranean warmth and Alpine air in its crafting.
