SAB’S presents its barrel-aged gin at Wine Paris & Vinexpo Paris 2024

Le Gin de Batard is aged in a Batard-Montrachet wine barrel, bridging the worlds of gin and Burgundy wine. Close collaboration with winemakers led to the selection of the barrel, enhancing the gin with distinctive wine characteristics. The gin undergoes the same process as Burgundy wines: one-month of maturation on wine lees in the Batard-Montrachet barrel, followed by four months on lees in stainless steel tanks. This ageing process, including stirring the lees, imparts golden hues, elevates the citrus nose, and adds deliciously round, exotic notes to the palate.
