Dom Brial’s Rozy offers another eye-catching design that celebrates summer
The collective has turned to a tattoo artist to create the label for its latest rosé vintage
A collective of around 250 passionate wine producers, Dom Brial can trace its history back to 1923 and now has vineyards on a mosaic of soils typical of Roussillon.
Covering 1,700 hectares, Dom Brial has been certified Sustainable Winegrowing since 2007 across its entire area, while 200 hectares are farmed organically.
For 20 years, Dom Brial has been offering an appealing seaside rosé, Rozy cuvée, that makes summer vibrate. Described as elegant and full of finesse, it represents the perfect harmony between Syrah and Muscat Petit Grain.
In keeping with the summer theme, Rozy is presented with a label featuring a bikini, with a different design unveiled each year reflecting the most beautiful summer trends, from tropical to rockabilly, from gingham to stripes, from leopard to zebra, from star to mermaid.
For the 20th vintage in 2023, Dom Brial has partnered with a tattoo artist, Tamara, to design the 2022 vintage. A tattoo artist is an appropriate choice given that the design of the rosé is tattooed onto the bottle.
Tamara, who recently settled in Leucate on the shores of the Mediterranean, has created a beautiful design that features a shell, a parasol, the sun, coral and her own writing.
The result is something that is entirely original yet in keeping with the playful summer-themed tradition of Rozy that has been built up over two decades.
Named the “Best Co-operative in France” on several occasions, Dom Brial is renowned for its many other fine wines such as Château Les Pins Rouge 2017 AOP Côtes du Roussillon Villages, Château Les Pins Muscat 2021 AOP Muscat de Rivesaltes and Château Les Pins Ambré 2015 AOP Rivesaltes.
Dom Brial has its own tasting cellars and offers Master Class tasting sessions where novices and wine connoisseurs alike can learn more about the art of wine tasting.
