Exhibiting for the second time at Wine Paris & Vinexpo Paris, Les Brûleries Modernes, the spirits portfolio of Distillerie Vinet-Delpech, is launching its first French single malt whisky, Palisson.
It is produced using the Cognac method of double distillation in a Charentais still before being sent for maturation at the family’s Palisson site, after which it is named.
The first batch has been aged in Limousin oak barrels that previously contained cognac, giving the whisky harmony, softness and delicacy.
Offered in an elegant giftbox, Palisson has fruity, floral and pastry aromas, with malt flavours accompanied by hints of pear and biscuit.
