Château Marzelle charms visitors with elegant tanins

Château Marzelle, spread over 17 hectares on the Haute Terrasse of Saint-Emilion, has been on the map since 1821. Having received AB certification for its 2020 vintage, its organic farming methods bring purity, freshness and a lingering salinity to its wines. The château, run by Jacqueline et Jean-Jacques Sioen, opened a new cellar in 2012, with the objective of gaining in precision by working on each plot individually. As part of the renovation, terracotta jars were added to winery’s traditional oak barrels.
