The startup, founded in 2016, is presenting a smart wine aerator at Wine Paris & Vinexpo Paris 2023. The device produces 24 hours of aeration instantly thanks to its patented micro-oxygenation technology.
Wine lovers can now enjoy a professional and outstanding tasting experience by following three simple steps, the company says. Place the aerator on an uncorked wine bottle and select the optimum number of hours of aeration. Then, simply pour the wine into a glass and enjoy. Only the wine which has been poured through the device is aerated, not the rest of the bottle. The company has also developed a mobile application for those who need a helping hand when it comes to gaging how much time it needs to breath. The smart wine aerator means wine drinkers can enjoy their bottle immediately rather than having to wait for hours. It is the brainchild of Nicolas Naigeon, a trained engineer from a family of Burgundy winegrowers, who has made it his mission to reinvent wine tasting. Based on his experience and observations, Mr Naigeon wanted to invent a product which helps release the wine’s flavours, structure and aromas in an instant. Born out of the symbiosis between French wine heritage and new technologies, it is just one of the products and services which the company has been developing over the past seven years.
