Cave de Tain showcases latest innovations on dawn of 90th birthday

ADVERTORIAL

The winemaker is offering exclusive new blends of remarkable cuvées which are perfect for sharing and indulgence.

Cave de Tain has been innovating since the creation of its cellar in February 1933 with the expertise of almost 300 winegrowers spread across some 1,000 hectares of vines. In the lead up to its 90th anniversary, the company is taking advantage of its enviable access to a multitude of left bank and right bank terroirs.

Using this geographical advantage to create new flavours, its latest exclusive wines include:

  • A 100% Syrah Vin de France with fine, silky tannins and aromas of violets, blackberries and oriental spices
  • A 100% Marsanne cuvée with aromas of flowers, white fruits and light toasted notes.

As well as the fantastic taste of these two VDF certified wines, Cave de Tain pays particular attention to reducing its carbon footprint. This also comes under its CSR approach as part of its Vignerons Engagés label.

Initiatives include:

  • The company’s ultralight bottles, weighing less than 400g
  • Deletion of the CRD

Illustrator Agathe Ducerf has designed a beautiful new label for the winemaker. These are sold exclusively in the two stores of the Cave de Tain, its online store, and on the trade circuit.

Cave de Tain also offers wine lovers a chance to explore the hillside vineyards of the region and dive into the secrets of its cellar. Its wine tourism sector includes cuvées tasting with its Terres de Syrah team while visitors in the summer can also enjoy an aperitif on the River Rhône with the Compagnie des Canotiers, between Ardèche and Drôme.
