Château Pech-Latt, in Lagrasse in the Corbières appellation in Languedoc-Roussillon, is celebrating its 30th anniversary of organic farming certification.
Ideally located between land and sea, and benefiting from a dual climate and rich and diverse terroirs, AOC Corbières has 10,600 hectares of vines, including 1,300 hectares in organic farming.
Château Pech-Latt gained its organic certification in 1991, so the 2021 vintage represents 30 years of its deep commitment to nature.
In the region, organic has been adopted by many winegrowers, but as one of the first to switch entirely to organic, Château Pech-Latt is a pioneer.
